Our Monitoring Divison (formerly Alarm Central) operates a nationwide, bilingual, 24/7 digital alarm monitoring station working for the independent security alarm dealer. We offer the winning combination of industry leading technology, strong customer relations, professionalism and personal service to the dealer. Our procedures and strong information processing methods have enabled us to maintain quality service at competitive prices.
Safe Harbour Affiliate dealers have access to a staff of knowledgeable industry professionals who are well trained and keep abreast of the technical changes in our fast growing industry. Our operators can be reached during the day and always in an emergency to help save our dealers time on those problem installations. They can assist Affiliate dealers on tendering service, contract content, and system requirements, designs and U.L.C. requirements.
The Central Station has access to a T3 major hub of fiber optic and communication lines. Bandwidth is virtually unlimited and connectivity is guaranteed. The facility provides the highest level of physical/ network security, power and network redundancy, and accessibility. The likelihood of the data center experiencing downtime is extremely remote. All monitoring and alarm systems are on UPS backup system and the data center is backed up by a diesel generator that would constantly and instantly provide in house power. For further security, our data is backed up every night, providing us with remote access should the station experience a disaster. We use BOLD Manitou monitoring software, industry leaders in Central Station software.
The use of web based communicators allows the Central Station to provide supervision of burglary, fire, medical emergency, openings and closings, access control, power failure, carbon monoxide, propane presence, sump pumps, water valves, refrigeration, and environment control. We have been monitoring security systems for over 25 years and have learned a lot about how to best serve our clients. Whether it's residential, business or industrial, our state-of-the-art response center will provide your greatest peace of mind.
Our Science Division, DNA Technologies, is engaged in the production and distribution of anti-counterfeiting marking materials to the security and product authentication industries. DNA Technologies has developed a patented DNA-based tracking technology, which uses DNA-laced ink to tag and protect valuable products, brands and intellectual property.

The DNA of an individual is well known in the forensic field as "evidence of conviction" because of its uniqueness and is now accepted by the courts of justice worldwide as verified evidence of identity. DNA has become synonymous with proof of authenticity and scientific accuracy and these powerful attributes make DNA a prime candidate for a unique security marker.
DNA Technologies has the ability to offer unlimited numbers of unique inks, dyes and films to their customers, with a very high degree of security and reliability. Our products are patented, award winning, market-tested and in demand. We have a broad range of services and unique applications for the DNA Matrix™ security mark. Our solution has been deployed with great success by the Sydney 2000 Olympic Committee, the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and is currently being used by Thomas Kinkade ("Painter of Light"), Avery Dennison Retail Information Services, BRL Hardy's Wines, the NFL's Super Bowl and the National Hockey League.
The Solutions Division (formerly Mammoth Communications) regularly monitors trends and is constantly expanding our broad portfolio of security solutions with new products and services. We act as a service bureau to Safe Harbour Security, sourcing new technologies and preparing 'take to market' programs to support them. We provide product training, technical support and product literature to Affiliate dealers in the field, so that they can feel confident in the products we offer.
Through in-house development and partnerships with some of the world's leading security specialists, we've assembled and continue to build the most advanced, reliable and complete selection of products and services available anywhere, all configured to meet Canadian regulations and standards.
Our current focus is on GPS and assisted GPS tracking products that are universal and reliable. GPS is well known for navigation, tracking and mapping, and its powerful features allow for protection of physical assets such as vehicles (cars, boats, ATVs, motorcycles, planes, construction equipment, farm machinery) and cargo. In recent years, as GPS receivers have been miniaturized, the technology has become very economical and is finding new applications in personal protection and medical monitoring, making the technology accessible to virtually everyone.
As with any new technology, there is a 'learning curve' that we endeavour to shorten. We act as an R&D resource to Affiliate dealers so that time and money is not wasted, and so that operating and monitoring a GPS device, for whatever application, is simple and easy. Our team has extensive experience in software development, network management, security and service provisioning.
